One of the designs I'm most proud of--my koi pond bottle caps. They come in necklace or key-chain forms.
All fish are 100% handmade with polymer clay, baked in the oven, and then painted with acrylic paints. They are then sealed in a protective polyurethane spray and placed into the desired bottle cap atop a thin layer of white glow-in-the-dark sand. Some are accented with pieces of tillandsia (air plants) and/or tiny shells, and then the entire piece is submerged in clear resin to give the illusion of water. Bubbles can form in the resin, which can be popped as the piece dries, or left to harden in place since they match the theme of the piece.
The backs of each cap can either be left plain to show the cap logo (beer, soda, etc.), or painted white and given an initial (see below). The backs that are painted are sprayed with a protective gloss coating.
